National Energy Administration: In 2022, the new wind photovoltaic power generation accounted for more than 55% of the country's new power generation

2023 01/02

Under the dual-carbon goal, China's wind power solar power and other new energy development momentum is strong, has become an important part of China's diversified energy supply system. On January 13, the State Information Office held a press conference on ensuring energy supply to ensure a warm winter. Zhang Jianhua, Director of the National Energy Administration, attended and introduced relevant information. Zhang Jianhua said that in 2022, the new installed capacity of wind power and photovoltaic will be more than 120 million kilowatts, and the cumulative installed capacity will exceed 700 million kilowatts, driving the installed capacity of renewable energy more than 1.2 billion kilowatts, and the wind power photovoltaic industry has become one of the most competitive industries.

Zhang Jianhua pointed out that as the installed scale of wind power photovoltaic power generation continues to expand, the role played in energy supply is becoming more and more obvious. First of all, wind power photovoltaic has become the main body of new installed capacity in China. According to statistics, in 2022, the new installed capacity of wind power photovoltaic accounted for 78% of the new installed capacity in the country; Second, photovoltaic power generation has become the main body of new power generation in China. In 2022, the new wind power photovoltaic power generation accounted for more than 55% of the country's new power generation. Third, the role of wind power photovoltaic power supply is becoming more and more obvious. According to the dispatching data of the power grid company, the average output of wind power photovoltaic power generation in most areas of the country in 2022 accounts for about 15% of the average electricity load, and up to 40%. During the summer peak in 2022, the average output coefficient of photovoltaic power generation in Jiangsu, Shandong, Zhejiang and other large installed provinces reached 0.5 during the noon peak electricity consumption, which strongly supported the energy security supply.
